Garrett and Luna Chimney Inc isn’t just another chimney sweep Portland homeowners call when the flue needs clearing—we’re the team you trust to restore your fireplace to its original, pristine condition. Every sweep isn’t just a cleaning; it’s a meticulous inspection of your chimney’s integrity, from the crown cap to the smoke chamber. Portland’s damp winters and dense wood fires create the perfect storm for creosote buildup, and we cut through that with precision tools and a white-glove approach. Our crews arrive with HEPA-filtered vacuums, microfiber cloths, and a zero-tolerance policy for leaving soot behind, because your home deserves better than a half-swept flue.
What sets us apart isn’t just our attention to detail—it’s the guarantees that back it up. After every service, you’ll receive a written report detailing the condition of your chimney, including photos of any damage or blockages we found. If we miss something during your sweep (and we’ve never had a complaint), we’ll return at no cost to correct it. Portland’s older homes, with their brick-and-mortar chimneys, are especially prone to hidden issues like cracked flue tiles or deteriorated mortar joints. We don’t just sweep; we document, so you know exactly what’s been addressed—and what might need future work before it becomes a costly repair.
Our reputation in Portland isn’t built on speed; it’s built on the confidence homeowners feel after we leave. While other sweeps might rush through your chimney in under an hour, we take the time to ensure every crevice is clear, every joint is inspected, and every safety concern is flagged. Whether you’re gearing up for winter in the Willamette Valley or just want to enjoy a crackling fire without the worry of smoke backing up into your living room, we treat your chimney like it’s our own. And because we know Portland’s weather can be unpredictable, we offer emergency service for urgent blockages—because a blocked chimney isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a fire hazard waiting to happen.
